Hey peeps :) i'll open todays update with few wallpapers of international players who are not in NBA but i got requests for their wallpapers on site FB fan page recently... this one is widescreen wallpaper of Dusko Savanovic, Serbian player who is member of Anadolu Efes in Turkish basketball league (they are first in league atm)... wallpaper was made of two pics of Dusko (one in Valencia and other in Serbian national team jerseys)...

Few days ago Pedja Stojakovic, one of the best shooters in NBA history, announced his decision to retire... so i took some time and made wallpaper to honor his career :) i used lots of Pedja's pictures from all periods of his career, including winning NBA Title with Mavs, becoming FIBA World Champion and winning gold medal and MVP award at EuroBasket, of course All-Star game appearances and All-Star Saturday events trophies, and pics of him in all NBA teams he played for :) did you know that Stojakovic is 4th ranked player in NBA history for 3pts made and free throws percentage? not bad at all :P :)

As i said few minutes ago, FIBA World Championship 2010 is over and now i'll add wallpapers of to ranked teams of this tournament... i'll start with widescreen wallpaper of Serbia national team that finished 4th... what can i say other then all of these guys made me very very proud to be Serb :) they were the youngest team in tournament, and if they had correct referees in semi-finals against host Turkey they would be in finals... but more about that scandalous game i'll tell a bit later, when i come to finalists... for the end, i want to mention all players who were parts of this great team - Milos Teodosic, Milenko Tepic, Aleksandar Rasic, Ivan Paunic, Nemanja Bjelica, Stefan Markovic, Dusko Savanovic, Marko Keselj, Nenad Krstic, Kosta Perovic, Novica Velickovic and Milan Macvan... also i want to mention all players who were invited into national team in june but didn't make cut for final team who will be at world championship - Miroslav Raduljica, Ivan Radenovic, Mladen Jeremic, Zoran Erceg, Dragan Milosavljevic, Bojan Popovic, Luka Bogdanovic and Boban Marjanovic. The last for today will be wallpaper of Dusan Kecman, player 99% of you probably never heard about... he is Serbian basketball veteran currently playing for Partizan Belgrade... he isn't a super star or mvp type of player but he is sort of player that every team would appreciate, hard worker and great sportsman :) well yesterday he hit an amazing half court buzzer beater 0.6 seconds before game finish and with that shot won 2010 Adriatic League title for Partizan Belgrade, their 4th title in row in this league :) as i said, most ppl never heard about him but i tried to give you a picture who he is and here's link to video to see what really happened if you want (it's in Croatian tho, since league Final Four was hosted by Zagreb, Croatia) :)

Next will be another young player who is unknown to most of USA fans, i have new wallpaper of Novica Velickovic in Partizan Belgrade jersey... Novica moved to Real Madrid and plays there atm btw... this guy is future of European basketball and will probably play in NBA one day... he was named 2008-09 Euroleague Rising Star and was also Euroleague MVP of week and month in past... wallpaper was made by "BakDesign" :)
